Now, by joining forces with BASF, they also design their products from the earliest stages to minimize their negative impact on the natural environment. Each type of casing can be manufactured with BASF's special Ultramid® Ccycled™ raw material, of which Podanfol is the exclusive user for artificial casing products.

CASING LINE FOR MOST STANDARD COOKED ROUND SAUSAGES
Podanfol's classical casing line encompasses our most popular casing types for the production of cooked sausages with medium to high barrier depending on specific requirements. Even though the various types of casings within this group are structurally similar, their performance and characteristics vary to fit a vast range of applications.

FLEXIBLE CASINGS FOR COOKED FORMED MEATS
Podanfol flex-casing line encompasses our most popular casing types for the production of cooked cured meats with medium up to high barrier. We have the right solution to deal with equipment, processing technology and required end product features in case of small pieces of restructured cured meats as well as whole muscle ham technology.
PET FOOD LINE
THERMOSTABLE AND HIGH BARRIER CASINGS
Casings for the pet food industry require thermal stability at a higher level than food products for human consumption. Therefore this family of casings is apt to withstand very high processing temperatures. Moreover the cylindrical shape of these products will remain stable throughout manipulation and distribution at the same time allowing longer shelf life at ambient temperature.
HOT DOG LINE
CASINGS FOR HOT DOGS AND SMALL DIAMETER SAUSAGES
Small diameter hot dog production is also achieved by using all-nylon casings with pronounced thermoshrinkage and moderate barrier properties to permit further distribution of such products with a longer shelf-life than in permeable counterpart casings.
SMOKE LINE
CASING LINE FOR SMOKED, COOKED, SEMI-DRY AND RAW SAUSAGES
Smoke Line are a highly modified synthetic polymer casings based on polyamide and water soluble polymers to allow selective permeability to smoke, gases and water vapor. The Smoke Line casings are specifically designed to meet requirements for production of smoked, cooked, semi-dry and raw sausages.
RING LINE
CURVED CASING LINE
Podanfol’s curved casing line stands for a family of sausage casings which are regularly expanded in a controlled manner to form a curvation of defined inner diameter and repeated radius while keeping the caliber constant. Ring Line is offered in calibers from 28 to 65 mm and is always delivered in shirred form to guarantee the optimum quality. Our Ring Line quality is unique and provides distict advantages.
